Cookies Notice
Cookies and similar technologies can store information on, or access information from, the device you use to visit a website. This notice explains the purposes relevant to website functions and how choices apply to optional use.

Technologies used for website functions
Some technologies support a function you request, such as maintaining a security feature or remembering a privacy choice. Their purpose differs from technology used to analyse browsing or deliver marketing.
Whether a technology is necessary depends on what it actually does and the applicable rules. A description such as essential is not, by itself, a reason to use it for unrelated purposes. Information about a feature explains the purpose relevant to that use.
Optional analytics
With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics to understand visits, popular pages, contact-link clicks and successful inquiry submissions. Google Analytics is provided by Google. The Google tag is loaded only after you accept analytics. We do not send inquiry field values to Google Analytics.
Where your permission is required, optional use follows your selection. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent access to the website's essential content. You can review or change an available optional choice through the site's privacy controls.
Inquiry messages, manuscript content, research datasets and other sensitive project material are excluded from website analytics. A request for research support is not permission to use its contents as website-usage data.
Marketing and embedded features
An optional marketing tool or embedded service may involve a separate provider and additional information sharing. A video, booking feature or other third-party component can also have its own privacy information and settings.
Where a feature involves an optional choice, the relevant information is presented before that use begins when required. Choosing a consulting service does not automatically authorise optional marketing or access to unrelated third-party features. This description does not imply that a particular service is currently installed.
Duration and provider information
Different technologies can retain information for different periods. The duration relevant to a particular use matters when deciding whether to enable it or how to manage it later.
Information accompanying an optional feature identifies the provider, purpose and relevant duration or expiry criteria. A provider's own notice may explain further aspects of its processing. Read the Privacy Notice for the wider context of personal-information handling.
Managing your choices
Where optional choices are available, the website's privacy controls allow you to review and change your selection. Changing a choice applies to future use; it does not necessarily remove information that a provider has already lawfully received.
Browser settings may also allow stored information to be deleted or blocked. Their effect depends on the browser and the technology involved. Blocking a function needed for a feature you request may affect that feature's operation.
Questions and changes
This notice may be updated when relevant website functions or technology arrangements change. Information supplied with a particular feature should be considered alongside this notice.
For a question about website technologies or your choices, use the contact page. Do not include confidential research or sensitive personal information in that inquiry.
